Two-Tone was seen trailing a hooklink only. At no time was she seen trailing leadcore also, that is just a rumour. The day after she was seen trailing a hooklink she was seen again without the hooklink. I repeat, she was not seen with leadcore attached also.
I was at Conningbrook today and saw the great fish just after he/she was found. Visually, she was in great condition, her mouth was not damaged in any way. At no time recently has she been tethered - FACT! I guess the rumours are started by jealous morons with no lives. Or people who are stupid enough to believe the aforementioned. I'm a bailiff on Conningbrook and consequently I know all of the anglers fishing there. There's not one of them who would have put the great fish in any danger by using a death rig. Anyone who thinks any different is clearly deluded. It's a sad fact of life that all creatures die when they get too old. It's nature. So please gents, let's stop the rumours and show a little respect to those who are mourning her loss.
